Bristol from the Bridge Walk
During this two hour walk, come and explore Bristol's deep time history: connecting the city we live in with the land beneath our feet.
On this journey, we walk up through the layers of its geological past and connect the rocks beneath our feet to the history of Bristol.
Starting at the Clifton Suspension Bridge, we take in fabulous views of the Avon Gorge and the Bridge and learn about the geological foundations of the city. The route continues down through Hotwells, the Docks and back up to Clifton, where we discuss the links between the geology and the city's human history through its stories, architecture and industry.
